It has great maneuverability and does indeed work on the ceiling. Due to the vacuum, though, it is a little loud. From their site:

One last note - I almost did not post this deal because DX.com has had below average ratings on resellerratings the past 6 months. Overall they are elite, but from reading reviews shipping has been hit or miss with the company recently so that is something to keep in mind when ordering.
